Frying Pan Experience

Forge Your Own Frying Pan Experience

One of our most unique and satisfying classes yet — create a forged carbon steel frying pan that’s built to last a lifetime.

If you love the idea of using something you’ve made with your own hands every day, this is the class for you. In this experience, you’ll craft your very own 11-inch carbon steel frying pan — complete with a forged handle, copper rivets, and your personal decorative touches.

You’ll start with a pressed carbon steel pan body, ready to customise. Then, using a pre-shaped handle blank, you’ll heat, twist, bend, and texture the steel at the anvil, adding your own flair and design. Once you’ve perfected your handle, you’ll attach it to the pan with traditional copper rivets, finishing it off as a functional, long-lasting piece of cookware that’s ready for years of use.

This class is all about combining traditional blacksmithing with practical craftsmanship. You’ll learn core forging techniques — hammer control, heat awareness, decorative shaping, and assembly — while making something you’ll actually use and be proud of.
